Andrei used to be shy. Kids made fun of him when he was in front of the class, and even teachers weren’t nice, telling him he had “plums in his mouth”. He felt like a nobody. After many years he discovered the source of his trauma and decided things had to change. He practiced speaking for months and years, learning from his mistakes.
After many attempts, in one beautiful day, he was no longer scared to make mistakes, to be vulnerable or to speak in front of people. That day he spoke honestly about his struggles and successes. The audience listened closely, touched by his story. When he finished, there was a long pause, then warm applause. The applause stopped, but Andrei’s victory would last forever. He had finally conquered his fear and proved to himself that anything is possible with hard work and belief.
